Juventus are a step closer to landing the versatile Hellas Verona player Romulo.
The Bianconeri are expected to complete the deal very shortly after sporting director Beppe Marrotta confirmed that the 27-year-old will join his side.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the only hindrance in finalising the deal is the payment method, especially for the loan. Other financial details between the Gialloblu and the player’s agent also need to be sorted.
However, reports suggest that negotiations have entered the final phase and that the Turin-based outfit is determined to acquire the player quickly in order to fly him out to Asia for the side’s pre-season camp.
Capable of playing as a fullback as well as a midfielder, Romulo managed six Serie A goals for Verona in 32 appearances during the 2013-14 season.
