Chilean wing back Mauricio Isla looks set to complete a move from Juventus to English Premier League side Queen’s Park Rangers.

The former Udinese man has struggled to settle in Turin, making only 18 Serie A starts in his two seasons at the club, and the imminent arrival of Verona’s Romulo appears to have left Isla surplus to requirements.

Sky Sport Italia reports that QPR have seen off competition from Fiorentina and Marseille, with Isla arriving in London on a season-long loan, and the deal should be completed in the next few days.

Isla arrived in Turin in 2012, along with Udinese compatriot Kwadwo Asamoah. However, while Asamoah has become a fixture in the bianconeri side, the Chilean has often been used as a rotation option, having failed to recapture the form he showed for the Friuli side where he contributed 17 assists and six goals in his three seasons with the club.
