Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement for the contract renewal of veteran defender Andrea Barzagli.

The 33-year-old will remain with the Bianconeri until the end of the 2015-16 season, with reports suggesting that it might be his final extension with the Italian champions.

According to Studio Sport, the 2006 World Cup winner will likely hang up his boots after seeing out his latest contract with the Old Lady.

Barring a two-and-a-half year stint at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, Barzagli has made a total of 370 appearances in Italy’s Serie A, Serie B, Serie C1, Serie C2, and Serie D in his career.
