AC Milan look set to lose out on the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, with Juventus now looking to be in pole position for his signature.

The 19-year-old has been attracting interest from Arsenal, Inter and Roma but recent speculation has seen the player linked heavily with a move to Milan.

However, Calciomercato.com claims that the French champions will not allow the player to leave on loan and will only accept a permanent deal, seemingly ruling out the Rossoneri.

Sky Sport Italia report that the player’s agent, his mother Veronique, has confirmed that her son has rejected the chance to join Filippo Inzaghi’s side on a two-year loan deal, as well as the offer of a new contract at PSG and a permanent transfer to Arsenal.

This paves the way for a move to the Bianconeri with the Turin club taking a back seat in hope of signing the player for free next summer when his current contract at the Parc des Princes expires.

Rabiot made 34 appearances in all competitions last season for Laurent Blanc’s side after spending the 2012/13 season on loan at Toulouse, and is among the most highly-rated young players in Europe.
