Juventus are interested in signing Galatasaray’s Turkish defender Semih Kaya.

The 23-year-old has been identified as an alternative to Benfica’s Luisao who remains the club’s first choice defensive target but the Portuguese club remain reluctant to sell.

According to Tuttosport,Juve believe that Kaya may be made available should Cesare Prandelli’s Galatasaray sign another defender, with River Plate’s Eder Alvarez Balanta linked to the Turkish giants among many others.

It is expected that a transfer fee of between €8-10 million would be enough for the Old Lady to bring the Turkish international to Turin.

However, the Bianconeri are reluctant to invest that amount of money immediately and would prefer to bring Kaya in on loan with the option to make the deal permanent.

Kaya is a product of the Galatasaray youth system and has made 87 appearances for the Cimbom and he made 29 league appearances during the 2013-14 season.
