Juventus midfielder Simone Pepe has decided to end negotiations with Parma over a potential move.
The 30-year-old had been given permission to speak with the Gialloblu as Massimiliano Allegri had deemed him surplus to requirements.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Udinese player halted the potential transfer himself after voicing his intention to stay in Turin and fight for his place in the Juventus side.
Pepe recently scored for Juventus in a friendly match against Australia’s A-League All Stars captained by Alessandro Del Piero. However, Pepe only saw playing time for Juventus three times during the 2013-2014 season due to a series of injuries.
