Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri continues to attract interest from Juventus, though the Old Lady are reportedly finding the German outfit’s asking price unaffordable at the moment.

In an effort to ease negotiations, the Bavarian side have made an enquiry into the availability of wingback Stephan Lichtsteiner, hoping to secure a swap deal involving both the Swiss players.

Sky Sport Italia reports that the Bianconeri consider Die Roten’s proposal exorbitant, and will hence pursue a loan deal for the 22-year-old starlet.

However, it is believed that Bayern are demanding 6 million for a season-long loan with the option to buy at 25m.

It is believed The Old Lady finds both figures too high, with negotiations expected to end unless both sides can conjure up an agreement in the coming days.

Dubbed as the ‘Swiss Messi’, Shaqiri picked up two Man of the Match awards in three group-stage games at the World Cup in Brazil this summer, with a hat-trick against Honduras to boot.
