Juventus are reportedly ready to make a bid for Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic.

The 21-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements by Citizens boss Manuel Pellegrini and is likely to leave this club this summer.

Now, according to the Manchester Evening News, the Bianconeri, who have been tracking the player for some time, are set to make a formal offer of €12 million for the Serbian.

It looked as if Juve were set to sign Benfica defender Luisao, but the Portguese side remain adamant the Brazilian will be staying with the Águias.

Nastasic has previous Serie A experience as City purchased him from Fiorentina for €15m plus Stefan Savic in 2012.
