Juventus are set to enter contract negotiations with midfielder Paul Pogba after the close of the transfer window to extend their relationship with the France international.

Pogba, who is one of Europe’s most highly rated midfielders, has been linked with a move away from Turin after two successful seasons in Serie A, in which the Bianconeri won two league titles.

After being linked with a return to former club Manchester United for several months, Tuttosport reports that Pogba is ready to commit his future to Juventus in a five-year agreement which would see the Frenchman earn €5 million per season plus performance related bonuses.

Once the transfer window has closed, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is set to meet Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta to negotiate the final details of the extension.

The 21-year-old moved to The Old Lady in 2012 and has gone on to score 12 goals in 62 appearances and featured for France during World Cup this summer.
