Despite reports of a €19m offer submitted for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez and also an approach to take Radamel Falcao of Monaco to Turin before the transfer window closes it appears that Juventus are also keen on Alessio Cerci making the move from city rivals Torino.

The 27-year-old had a stunning campaign with the Granata last term and was expected to move on just as strike partner Ciro Immobile had but a deal with AC Milan has never really looked like coming to fruition despite negotiations between the club and Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani.

With that deal almost certainly not to be resurrected Sky Sport Italia are reporting that the Bianconeri are considering a move for the Italian international that would be considered as Arsenal and Atletico Madrid have not followed up initial interest with any formal offers.

The fomer Roma and Fiorentina wideman hit 13 goals for Torino last season in 36 Serie A appearances to secure a place in the Italy squad that travelled to the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
