Lazio are attempting to beat Juventus to the signing of PSV Eindhoven star Jeffrey Bruma this summer.
The 22 year old Dutch international only signed from Chelsea last summer, but could be off to the Serie A with the Serie A duo sounding out their interest in the talented defender.
Tuttomercatoweb.com are reporting that the Aquile are hoping to steal a march on Juventus by initiating first contact with PSV for Bruma.
Lazio are reportedly willing to offer €6-7 million plus bonuses to secure Bruma’s services, and could look to finalize a deal quickly to ward off competition from the Old Lady.
The possibility of partnering Bruma with new signing and international colleague Stefan de Vrij is thought to be an attractive option for Lazio.
Bruma made 31 appearances for PSV last season, netting four goals.
