Uruguayan side Liverpool Montevideo has completed the loan move of Lazio forward Emiliano Alfaro.

The 26-year old Uruguayan earned himself a move to the Rome-based club with strong performances namely for the Montevidean club but has not been able to make his mark in Serie A.

“Lazio announce that they have sold on a temporary basis the player Emiliano Alfaro to Liverpool Montevideo,” a statement on the Biancolesesti’s official website read.

Alfaro, who has seven caps for Uruguay’s national team, scored 37 goals over the course of four seasons with Liverpool and the move back to his childhood club could give him a chance to revive his career after making only eight appearances in three seasons with Lazio.
