Lazio will turn to Bologna’s Panagiotis Kone should Antonio Candreva leave the club.
Candreva’s agent, Federico Pastorello has conceded that the 27 year old winger could leave the Biancazzurri with Liverpool and Arsenal interested. However, club president Claudio Lotito has reportedly placed a €30 million price tag on the player.
Should a transfer occur, the 27 year old is top of the list of possible replacements according to Il Messaggero, though they face competition from Udinese who recently have had a €4.5 million bid rebuffed.
The loss of Candreva would a significant one for Lazio as the had an excellent season scoring 12 goals and creating six assists in 37 appearances. These performances saw the player included in Italy’s 23 World Cup 2014 squad and proving to be a pivotal player in the victory over England.
The Greek international enjoyed a good season for Bologna despite the club’s relegation to Serie B, making 28 appearances and scoring five goals.
