Italian striker Fabio Borini is expected to leave English giants Liverpool and he has become a target for Spanish champions Atletico Madrid.
The 23-year-old former Roma striker has been linked with a move away from Anfield since the Reds bought compatriot Mario Balotelli from AC Milan as first team football will be hard to come by for the former Roma man.
According to Sportitalia, Borini has been approached by Atletico Madrid and he would consider playing in the Spanish Primera Division. The report comes amidst reports that AC Milan are also interested in landing the Italian international.
Borini had a successful loan spell with Sunderland last season but he has refused to move to the Black Cats on a permanent basis.
