Lega Pro Prima Division team Lumezzane are set to benefit from the sale of Mario Balotelli from AC Milan to Liverpool, as the Italian started his career at the Stadio Tullio Saleri before joining Inter in 2007.

The 24 year old is set to complete a move to Merseyside over the weekend for a fee in the region of €20 million, the former Manchester City striker has netted 26 goals in 43 appearances since joining Milan in January 2013.

The talented striker looks set to take the historic Liverpool No. 7 shirt recently vacated by Luis Suarez, and according to Giornale di Brescia, Lumezzane are set to receive around €444,000 from the transfer.

Milan are set to turn their attention to Chelsea striker Fernando Torres and Roma’s Mattia Destro should a deal for Balotelli go through. Brendan Rodgers has earmarked former Inter striker Samuel Eto’o as a possible alternative to Balotelli.
