Manchester United have reportedly reignited their interest in landing Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin.
Louis van Gaal is eager to boost the ranks in the Red Devils’ midfield after their shock 2-1 opening day defeat to Swansea, with the Colombian reportedly being one of his main targets.
According to the Daily Star, the Manchester club have started talks to sign Guarin by making an enquiry of the Nerazzurri’s asking price for the 28-year-old as their move for Arturo Vidal has stalled.
The deal could well materialise as Inter are looking to sell a few players to bring in another addition with Guarin’s name coming into contention to be one of these players along with Ricky Alvarez.
The Colombian featured in 31 matches in Serie A last term scoring four goals and providing nine assists as the Biscione finished in fifth place.
