Inter coach Walter Mazzarri has urged his players not to become complacent ahead of their Europa League clash with Icelandic side Stjarnan.
The Icelandic side are perhaps best known from viral videos of their inventive goal celebrations, which included choreographed depictions of fishing, a bicycle, and an imitation of a Rambo shooting spree.
“A game like this can have many pitfalls,” he said in the pre-match press conference. “[Starjan] are unbeaten in six games, getting past three rounds and their physical condition is superior.”
“They’ll try to take advantage of our mistakes, which can happen in the early stages of the season, but we will do our best regardless of adversary, it is in our DNA”
Stjarnan are the lowest ranked team left in the competition and they host three time winners Inter with a place in the Europa League Group Stage at stake.
