Ibrahima Mbaye has renewed his contract with Inter until 2017, but will head out on a year-long loan to fellow Serie A club Genoa.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio met with the 19-year-old’s agent Giuseppe Accardi at the club headquarters to thrash out a deal for the player who spent last season out on loan at Livorno.

“The loan deal with Genoa will have an option to make the transfer permanent as well as a buy back clause,” Accardi told FcInterNews.it.

“Mbaye will probably go on loan to Genoa, after which it will be up to the player to learn and grown in order to earn his place at Inter.”

With the Senegalese set to go out on loan again he was not included in the 28-man squad for the Nerazzurri’s Europa League qualifier.
