With Napoli midfielder Valon Behrami set to complete his move to Bundesliga club Hamburg further details of the have emerged that indicate that the Serie A side could net an additional €2m on top of the €4.5m fee that saw him leave Italy.
Apart from three seasons with Premier League side West Ham United the Switzerland international has spent virtually his entire career in Serie A and joined the Partenopei in 2012 from Fiorentina where he spent one season after returning from England.
After flying to Germany on Thursday to undertake a medical Sky Sport Italia have reported that Napoli have also included a clause that will raise his eventual fee to €6.5m should the 29-year-old make 20 league appearances next term.
Given that the former Lazio man has appeared 54 times in Serie A for the Partenopei during the last two campaigns the club will be confident they will receive the highest price possible for the midfielder.
