Napoli are reportedly looking to bring Liverpool defender Daniel Agger to the Stadio San Paolo.
The Dane has long been a target of Partenopei boss Rafael Benitez and the Spaniard could make another move for the player before the end of the transfer window.
According to Il Mattino, Napoli are hoping to make a last minute move for the 29-year-old, but any deal is dependant on whether Napoli qualify for the Champions League group stage.
The Azzurri drew their playoff first-leg against Athletic Club 1-1 with the return leg on Wednesday at the San Mames.
Agger made just 16 Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season.
