Sandro TottenhamAlthough Napoli’s primary target remains Marouane Fellaini, the Partenopei may look to Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro if they cannot complete a deal for the Belgian.

Sporting director Riccardo Bigon looks to be looking to the English market coach as he searches for the holding midfielder Rafael Benitez covets after Valon Behrami’s departure.

The London Evening Standard report that Sandro may well look to leave the Lilywhites if he fails to secure a place in Maurico Pochettino’s starting line-up, which has alerted Bigon to the possibility of the Brazilian moving to Italy.

Fellaini remains the top target for the Azzurri, but it is thought that he would prefer to stay with Manchester United and fight for his place in the Red Devils’ side.

If Napoli are unable to convince the 26 year old to do otherwise, they will have to turn elsewhere, and having been monitoring Sandro over the course of the close-season, he may well find himself on Bigon’s shopping list.
