Sami Khedira

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez has expressed interest in the Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

The midfielder’s departure from the Madrid side is almost certain, as Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Khedira has asked to leave the club.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are keen to further improve their midfield, despite the signing of Jonathan De Guzman from Villarreal, and are looking at the German as a dream capture.

Khedira did not appear for Real Madrid in the recent Spanish Supercopa against Atlético Madrid, furthering his distance from the club.

Though no offer has been made, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United have all expressed interest in the World Cup winner.
