The agent of Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has revealed that Napoli are yet to make contact with his client despite reported interest.
The imminent arrival of Mario Balotelli to Liverpool has pushed the 23 year old further down the pecking order and is reportedly seeking a move elsewhere.
“What will happen after the 31st August I don’t know,” Marco Antonio De Marchi told Radio CRC.
“Napoli is a great club, but I have not spoken to them yet. If they do call me, then I will have to listen.”
Borini spent last season on loan at Premier League side Sunderland and while they have made a bid for the player, it is thought that the former Roma man would prefer a move back to the Serie A.
