Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto says that Roma were a bit fortunate to beat his side in yesterday’s Serie A clash.
The Giallorossi defeated the Viola 2-0 courtesy of goals from Radja Nainggolan and Gervinho, and Neto rues what might’ve been for the team from Florence.
“I am very sorry for the result, especially in light of the opportunities that we have created,” Neto told Mediaset.
“Roma were a bit lucky, they scored on a rebound. In the second half we made ??it difficult for a team as strong as Roma.
“If we can keep playing the way we did in the second half we can do great things.
“With the entire squad available surely things will get better, but tonight we showed that even this year we can have our say in the championship.”
