Pablo Osvaldo has revealed that he’s happy to be joining Inter from Southampton and insists that he will do his best to help the Biscione fight for a Scudetto.

The 28-year-old striker is currently in Milan for a medical ahead of his season-long loan move to the Nerazzurri, which is expected to be completed by Tuesday, and he admits that his mission is to please the club’s fans by helping the team attain success during the 2014-15 campaign.

Osvaldo spoke to reporters at Malpensa airport upon his arrival to Milan about his goals for the upcoming season, while also commenting on coach Walter Mazzarri and his hopes to develop a great chemistry with Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi in Inter’s attack.

“I am very happy to be at Inter,” said the Italian international, who spent the second half of the 2013-14 season on loan at Juventus.

“Now I just want to complete my medical, I don’t really want to say anything else before signing due to some superstitions.

“Our objectives are the Champions League and the Scudetto? Hopefully we can achieve it all.

“Mazzarri? Still nothing from him yet, we have to speak personally.

“The attacking partnerships with Palacio and Icardi? We all hope to do well, for the good of Inter.

“Italy national team? It remains one of my goals.

“I want to give a big salute to the fans, I hope to do well for them.”
