Palermo have emerged as frontrunners for the services of Juventus fullback Paolo De Ceglie.
The 27 year old Italian spent last season on loan at Genoa, and the fullback has been made available after the signing of Patrice Evra from Manchester United.
Sky Sport Italia report that Palermo have concrete interest in De Ceglie, and will make an official approach in the coming days.
They will have to face competition from Parma, with the Ducali keen on the Italian fullback as well.
De Ceglie has never really established himself at the Bianconeri, despite being at the club since 2006, making 126 appearances over that time.
