Sergio Levinton, agent of Inter forward Ruben Botta, has revealed that discussions have taken place with both Parma and Chievo regarding the transfer of his client.

Botta made ten Serie A appearances last season, nine as a substitute, after joining the club in January and both interested clubs are keen on a season-long loan deal for the 24-year-old Argentine.

“Chievo has submitted an official offer to Inter, the club have a real intention to obtain Ruben on loan this year,” said Levinton, speaking to FcInterNews.it.

“The proposal is very respectable and at this moment we are evaluating it.

“Parma? There was in fact a meeting with [Parma sporting director Pietro] Leonardi on Wednesday, which was very friendly.

“He also asked about the possibility of having Botta on loan for a year.

“We will speak to [Inter sporting director Piero] Ausilio to learn about the economic demands of Inter.”

Botta’s actual transfer to the Nerazzurri was a protracted affair having signed from Tigre in his home country on a free transfer ahead of the 2013-14 campaign but was immediately loaned to Livorno as Inter did not have a free non-EU slot in their squad.

Injury prevented the player making an appearance for the Amaranto and he finally joined Walter Mazzarri’s men in January 2014.
