Parma have officially signed Catania midfielder Francesco Lodi on loan, with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The 30 year old Italian is a noted free kick specialist and joins the Ducali after Catania were relegated at the end of last season.
“Parma FC announces that it has acquired from Catania, the midfielder Francesco Lodi on a temporary basis with an option to purchase,” a statement read on the official Parma website.
The club also announced that Lodi will take the number 21 jersey this season.
