AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini has taken to social media to wish Mario Balotelli the best of luck on his return to the Premier League with Liverpool.

Balotelli made his arrival at the Reds’ Melwood training ground on Friday after the Rossoneri accepted a €20 million offer for the striker.

Pazzini’s Facebook message read: “Good luck Mario! A hug!”

Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola also took to social media by posting the strikers Liverpool kit on Instagram, bearing the familiar number 45.

Raiola tagged the strikers account handle and the message “only details remain” to hint at successful negotiations thus far.

This will be the fifth club for the 24-year old Balotelli, having started first team football for Lumezzane at age 15, to eventually playing at  Inter, Manchester City, and his boyhood club Milan.

Meanwhile, Pazzini will look to seize the added playing opportunities after Balotelli’s exit.  After an injury filled campaign last season, in which the striker managed three goals in 21 appearances.
