Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba believes that his team will be able to continue their success in the Serie A under new coach Massimiliano Allegri and insists that they’re ready for their first match of the 2014-15 campaign against Chievo on August 30.

The 21-year-old, who made his Serie A debut with the Bianconeri in a 2-0 win over the Flying Donkeys back in 2012, has expressed his confidence in the former AC Milan boss ahead of the new season and admitted that the whole team is adapting well to the ways of Antonio Conte’s successor.

Pogba spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his mission to help Juventus continue their reign in Italy under Allegri and his dream of winning the Champions League one day, while also commenting on his personal growth over the years.

“I feel good and I’m fine at the moment, there are no problems,” said the French international. “We are ready for the first game of the season against Chievo.

“My debut with Juve against Chievo two years ago? I remember it was my first game as a starter in the Juventus shirt, I was happy to play especially because we had managed to win. I hadn’t been playing much up until then.

“How do I feel now compared to then? I feel older now. I’m more mature and grown up, which is normal after playing alongside experienced champions like Andrea Pirlo and Gianluigi Buffon.

“Allegri? We’re all doing fine with him, we’re beginning to fully get to know him and work well with him. Conte had a different style, but this doesn’t mean that we won’t be able to also win with Allegri.

“It’s the first time I’ve been coached by another tactician, I still have to get used to it more but the whole team is comfortable with him and so am I.

“We’re the favourites for the Scudetto? I wouldn’t say this, but if we play with the same concentration and same wicked attitude of the past three seasons, then we can continue to win.

“Champions League? It’s a dream and a goal of mine to win the Champions League. All of the players want to win it.”
