QPR sign Napoli striker on loan

Edu Vargas - NapoliNapoli striker Eduardo Vargas has left the club to play in the Premier League after agreeing a loan move to QPR for the up coming season.

The Chilean striker who spent last season on loan playing in La Liga with Valencia will spend the 2014-15 season on loan at Loftus Road.

The London side who confirmed the deal on their official website after completing his medical, QPR manager Harry Redknapp said, “Eduardo is a quality player. He’s sharp, he’s bright, and he’s very lively on and off the ball.”

Vargas joins compatriot Mauricio Isla, who is on loan from Juventus, at the London club.

“Mauricio and I often speak on the telephone, and he said it’s a great relaxed city to work in, and said it’s a good bunch of players to work with.”

On playing in a third different league in three years Vargas commented, “The Premier League is the most renowned league in the world and I’m looking forward to playing here in England.”
