Porto defender Rolando has turned down a move to Galatasaray as he wants a return to Inter where he was on loan last season.

The 28-year-old was impressive in the 28 starts he made for the Nerazzurri, and that has prompted coach Walter Mazzarri to sign the defender on a permanent deal who has also spent a short-spell on loan at Napoli in the season before last.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports that the Brazilian has refused the offer to link up with former Italian coach Cesare Prandelli in Turkey as he waits for Inter to offload the duo of Matias Silvestre and Hugo Campagnaro before making a decisive move in his direction.

The centre-back has only a year remaining on his contract with Porto having joined from Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses in 2008, and has gone on to make 112 appearances in the Primeira Liga for the Portuguese side.
