Roma boss Rudi Garcia has revealed that he isn’t worried about his team’s first match of 2014-15 Serie A season against Fiorentina on August 30 and is only concentrated on the transfer market.

The Giallrossi may have brought in several good signings this summer including Juan Manuel Iturbe and Ashley Cole, but the tactician is still concerned about the possibility of losing some of his players in the final week of the transfer window and admits that the worry he feels may not be felt by the coaches of some of Europe’s wealthier clubs.

Garcia spoke to the press after Roma’s 2-1 friendly win over AEK Athens on Saturday about his concentration on the market and insisted that any players who leave will be replaced.

“I’m not worried about Fiorentina, but I am worried about the market,” said the 50-year-old.

“If a player leaves, someone new will come. My concern is only for the market, so you know that mostly all other coaches are probably feeling the same.

“Of course, maybe those of teams like Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea do not share my problem, but everyone else does.”
