Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado has emerged as a possible transfer target for Roma, following increasing rumours of a switch to Inter.

The 29 year old’s future at White Hart Lane is unclear, six goals in 28 appearances has left Spurs fans unimpressed as the Spaniard arrived for a club record €32 million fee in August 2013.

The diminutive striker has failed to impress new boss Mauricio Pochettino and, according to the Daily Express, has been offered to Roma.

Spanish International Soldado netted 59 goals in 101 games for Valencia before making the switch to North London.

The London outfit would have to lower their valuation if a transfer was to be completed, another option would be a season loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Rudi Garcia has a wealth of attacking options at his disposal but may need to open the chequebook should Mattia Destro exit the Olimpico.
