Roma striker Marco Borriello is reportedly on the verge of completing his move to newly promoted outfit Cesena.

The 32-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Giallorossi in recent times, and his transfer to the Cavallucci Marini is close to completion.

According to Sportitalia, Borriello’s transfer to Cesena is expected to go through at the end of August, with Roma paying the player’s wages for the month.

The report also states that the deal is expected to go through for a fee between €700,000 and €800,000.

It is also worth mentioning that the former Juventus man spent the second half of the 2013/2014 season on loan at English Premier League outfit West Ham, making only two appearances for The Hammers.
