Roma are preparing a bid to bring Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic back to Serie A.

After enduring a difficult 2013/2014 season punctuated by muscle injuries at Manchester City, the 24-year old is reportedly seeking more playing time.

According to The Daily MirrorRoma are keen to lure Jovetic back to Serie A on a season long loan, with an option to buy the attacker for up to €25 million.

The report also states that City coach Manuel Pellegrini might be an obstacle in the deal going through, as striker Alvaro Negredo is set to miss the start of the season through injury.

It is also worth mentioning that the Montenegrin international has made 19 appearances since his €27 million move from Fiorentina in the summer of 2013.
