Roma are hoping to do a deal with Shakhtar Donetsk to bring in their Brazilian forward Luiz Adriano.
Adriano has been heavily linked with Chelsea over the summer but Giallorossi coach Rudi Garcia is keen to add another forward to his squad and the Brazilian is at the top of his list.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma will make a €16 million offer in order to bring the striker to the Olimpico.
Should the bid be accepted, Adriano could become a Roma player within the next couple of days.
Adriano has an impressive record with Shakhtar, in 143 appearances for the club he has scored 69 times and has won the Ukrainian league title in each of the last five seasons.
