Roma are expected to complete the signing of Olympiakos defender Kostas Manolas in the coming days.

The Kokkinoi center-back missed their 3-1 victory over Niki Volas on Saturday as a move to the capital was getting close and now looks an agreement has been reached.

According to Coppa.gr, the 23-year-old will cost the Giallorossi €15 million with Manolas signing a five-year deal and will link up with his teammates before Saturdays first game of the season at home to Fiorentina.

Roma coach Rudi Garcia will be delighted with the capture of the defender he’s been chasing all summer as it looks more likely Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia will leave the club before the end of the transfer window.

Manolas has been capped 13 time by Greece an appeared at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and was voted one of the top 50 players at the tournament.
