Sampdoria forward Manolo Gabbiadini is reportedly in doubt for his side’s Serie A opener against Palermo.
Gabbiadini picked up a knock in the first half of his side’s 4-1 defeat of Como in the first round of the Coppa Italia, and could miss the game on Sunday.
According to the club’s official website, medical examinations show that the former Atalanta man has pulled the adductor muscle in his right leg.
The report also states that the player is going to be re-examined to confirm whether or not he’ll feature against the Rosanero.
It is also worth mentioning that the Blucerchiati kick off their Serie A campaign away to Palermo at 20:45 CET.
