Sampdoria have put a deadline on their offer for River Plate star Eder Balanta, stating that a deal must be closed by Monday.
The 21 year old Colombian international is highly sought after, and the Serie A outfit want to get a deal concluded quickly.
Sky Sport Italia report that the deal is being stalled due to Balanta being part owned by different organizations, which means Sampdoria have to negotiate with other parties.
Doria are becoming frustrated in their attempts, and have issued an ultimatum to River: own him completely and purchase all his rights by Monday or the deal will collapse.
The ball is now in River’s hands, as Sampdoria wait for their response.
Balanta has scored two goals in 42 appearances for the Argentine club since 2013.
