Sampdoria have closed a deal for Inter defender Matias Silvestre.
The 29-year old Argentinian centre-back has been officially loaned to Sampdoria from Inter for the 2014/15 season.
“Matias Agustin Silvestre is a Sampdoria player,” a statement on Sampdoria’s official website read.
“A few minutes ago, the player – born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on September 25, 1984, with 179 appearances and 13 goals in Italian football, has signed a contract that will tie him to Blucerchiati until June 30, 2015.”
Silvestre played with AC Milan this past term but he recorded just four Serie A appearances.
