We are back with another quick fire Serie A Kit Watch as we make the trip to Sicily to look at what Palermo will be wearing for their return to Italy’s top tier.

We are hitting you with a Kit Watch overload in the next 24 hours as we look to complete our series before the long awaited return of Serie A this weekend.

As I stated in a previous Kit Watch, tradition is something that must be adhered to in Italian football and Palermo fans will be thankful to Joma for obeying the tradition of their club.

The home kit remains the iconic and identifiable pink colour, with applications of black and gold.

The shorts and socks which accompany the home shirt are both black, with a touch of pink present in both.

Another thing I love on a shirt is a hidden quote. The new Palermo shirt satisfies that desire for me. The inside of the black and gold collar shows the text “Rosa come il dolce, nero come l’amaro, dal 1907 i nostri colori” (Rosa as the sweet, black as the bitter, are our colors since 1907). This is present on each shirt the Rosanero will wear this season.

The away kit this season is white and it is gorgeous. An extremely simple plain white template with two horizontal striped going across the chest of the shirt, one being pink and the other black. The simplicity and elegancy of the shirt reminds me of the Genoa away shirt for the coming season, another which I am a huge fan of.

Making it a hat-trick of great kits, the third kit is also something a little bit special. From afar, this kit looks nothing more than a dark grey, rather boring shirt.

Up close, there is a beautiful watermark of an eagle on the front of the shirt, linking back to one of the club’s nicknames – ‘Aquile.’

The colourless crest also adds a real element of class to the kit.

Their will be a pink trim around the crew neck collar and on the ends of the sleeves. The player’s names and number will also be printed in pink.

Shorts and socks will also be dark grey, completing the dark coloured kit.
