Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernando is a medical away from signing for Fiorentina, it is being reported.
The 22 year old Brazilian international is one of the many Shakhtar players desperate to leave Ukraine due to the unstable political situation and looks set to get his wish.
Ukrainian news portal Novosti report that the two clubs have a agreed a fee of around €8 million for the permanent transfer of midfield dynamo.
Fernando is expected in Florence in the next couple days to undergo the medical and officially sign the contract that will see him become the Viola’s latest signing.
He will become Fiorentina’s sixth signing this summer when the move becomes official.
