Torino are reportedly interested in making a bid for Parma striker Amauri as they look to secure a replacement for Alessio Cerci.

The Italian winger is likely to leave the Granata before the end of the transfer window, leaving Giampiero Ventura’s side with an attacking shortfall.

La Stampa suggest that the veteran Brazilian may well find favour as a low-cost option to come to the Stadio Olimpico to fill Cerci’s spot.

The report continues to suggest that Amauri, who scored the winning goals for Parma against Livorno that looked to have deprived Torino of their Europa League spot last season, is also on Palermo’s shortlist.

With Toro’s participation in the that competition not yet confirmed, the club may wait to make any moves in the market after securing a spot in the Europa League.

Amauri has been in Italy since 2001, making 315 Serie A appearances for a range of clubs, and scoring 84 goals.
