Torino may face difficulties in signing Sebastian Giovinco from Juventus as the player looks set to stay with the Bianconeri for another season.

The Granata had reportedly identified the Italian international as the ideal replacement for Alessio Cerci should he leave the club this summer.

However, Calciomercato.it suggests that the deal is impractical as the player is expected to stay with the Old Lady until at least January when he can begin negotiating a free transfer with his contract due to expire at the end of the new season.

The 27-year-old has also not given up hope of staying at the Juventus stadium, with his representatives currently awaiting a new contract offer from the club.

If however Torino could make the deal happen, the former Parma man would become the second striker to cross the city this summer after Fabio Quagliarella moved to Toro from Juventus last month.
