Torino’s in demand attacker Alessio Cerci is set to be resolved within the next week, according to reports.

It is understood that the club want his future resolved one way or the other and will look to tie him down to a new contract in a bid to keep their prized asset.

La Stampa report that president Urbano Cairo wants to keep the player and could be set to offer him a renewal until June 2019 and increase his salary to €1.5 million per season.

The 27-year-old’s current contract expires in two years and he currently earns almost less than half of what he will be offered under the terms of the new deal.

Cerci’s dream is to play Champions League football with boyhood heroes Roma, who have been circling amid rumour of a return to the capital.

However, Monaco, AC Milan and Juventus are others who have all shown an interest in Cerci.
