Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni has hailed the qualities on incoming Bologna midfielder Panagiotis Kone.
The 27-year-old Greek international is expected to sign imminently with the Fruiliani, after it emerged that the two clubs had agreed a fee of just over €5 million.
“Kone is a midfielder wanted by many teams,” Stramaccioni told Tuttomercatoweb.
“I know him well because I had followed him since my time at Inter, and am very happy that Udinese found a way to accommodate the player to our club.
“He is a complete midfielder, which was lacking in our midfield. I’m very happy with the fact that he has turned down more lucrative offers elsewhere to come to us.”
