Udinese have asked AC Milan about the availability of former Cagliari shot-stopper Michael Agazzi.

The 29 year-old has just joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer where he would deputise veteran Christian Abbiati.

Sportmediaset understands Udinese are looking to make Agazzi their first choice keeper should Simone Scuffet leave.

Despite a wealth of options in goal coach Andrea Stramaccioni wants Agazzi for his Serie A experience this season.

Scuffet is considered one of the finest young goalkeepers in Italy right now and could be loaned out to Watford.

Milan on the other hand would be free to pursue their transfer targets such as Pepe Reina or Mattia Perin.
