Juventus star Arturo Vidal has agreed to a deal that would see the 27-year-old join Manchester United.

The only obstacle in finalizing a move for Vidal is a pending medical, which remains a major concern for Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal who wants to ensure the Chilean is injury free after a long history of knee and ankle problems.

According to reports from the Daily Express, Vidal’s transfer from Turin to Old Trafford will cost Manchester United a fee expected to be in the range of €56 million.

If Juventus accept a deal for Vidal the Chilean midfielder would become the Red Devils most expensive transfer of all time.

Vidal is coming off a stellar World Cup performance with Chile and an impressive 2013-2014 season with Juventus where despite playing a holding midfield position Vidal managed to score 5 goals in the Champions League, 2 goals in Europa League and a further 11 goals in the Serie A.
