Inter defender Nemanja Vidic has revealed that the Biscione are working hard and making good progress ahead of the new season.

The Nerazzurri are set to face Greek side PAOK in a friendly on Thursday and the 32-year-old is hoping the Italian club can make up for their poor performance in their 3-1 friendly loss to Eintracht Frankfurt on August 10.

Vidic spoke to Inter Channel on Wednesday about the upcoming friendly and the team’s improvements during summer training, while also commenting on his own personal progress when it comes to helping out Inter’s attack.

“We have been working hard, we’ve had some good sessions and so far I think it’s gone well if you don’t include the game we played in Germany,” said the former Manchester United man.

“I try to attack the ball, I’m good in the air and I’m trying to score more goals and maybe I should score more. Tomorrow at PAOK, it won’t be an easy game but I hope we’re going to be better this time.”
